VoIP Training and Support
Training and support in the field of VoIP with an Internet and telecom provider focused on the Dutch business market.
An internet and telecom provider focused on the Dutch business market has engaged H2B to offer support in improving the VoIP infrastructure with which it provides its customers with high-quality telephone services.
Some long-term issue with the VoIP infrastructure had a negative impact on the service provision to the end users and insufficient resources were available within the organization to implement an adequate solution to the problems. H2B therefore offered a 2-phase solution at the request of the client.
In the first phase, the specialists at H2B immediately solved the most urgent problems on the environment. There has been close contact between H2B and the operational staff of the client. Within a very short time a number of tests have been carried out and points for improvement have been identified. On the basis of this research, an emergency maintenance was carried out, which led to a solution of the problems.
In the following phase, H2B organized a number of workshop sessions at the customer’s location. During these sessions, the employees of the client were trained in working with their own environment and various themes such as ‘monitoring’, ‘version management’, ‘templating’ and ‘procedural working’ were addressed. Naturally, the SIP protocol and the use of troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark were also extensively discussed. The aim of the sessions was to realize a trained team that is independently capable of managing and continuously improving its own infrastructure.
